The Japanese instrument that makes everyone laugh

The Otamatone is a quirky musical note-shaped synth from Japan. Slide your finger along the stem to change the pitch, then squeeze its cheeks to make it "sing" with a wobbly, wah-wah voice. Nobody plays it without cracking up, and that's the whole point.

Why people love it

• Easy to play: no musical skills needed. Just slide and squeeze.
• Instant entertainment: perfect for parties, videos, and silly family jam sessions.
• A standout gift: fun for kids, teens, and grown-up anime and Japan fans.
